We had the charred cabbage, hanger steak and halibut and they were all delicious. We really appreciated how knowledgeable our waiter was generally and particularly regarding the Nebbiolo wines. (I wish I could remember his name!) We will definitely visit again next time we are in Santa Monica.

Been to Tar & Roses a few times and it is one of our Favorite places to go. This time we took some friends that never been there. We had the Whole fried snapper, hanger steak, yellowtail sashimi, oxtail dumplings, cauliflower and 2 different desserts. everything was a huge hit with the party.
